The foundation of any successful credit union teen program rests on providing young members with much-needed financial education.

Elements of Money podcast.

As the credit union's industry's longest-running youth podcast, The Elements of Money podcast provides financial literacy in an radio show format. This monthly podcast focuses on current youth financial issues such as music and money, job hunting tips, pet expenses, and choosing a financial institution. The episodes are hosted by two Gen Yers, Nikki and Jenny, who put their unique spin on today's most important money issues. Members can subscribe and have episodes delivered to their desktop (or mobile device) via iTunes or their favorite RSS reader. Members also have access to our library of past podcast episodes.


Web-based financial articles.


With the Elements of Money website, your teen members will have access to a library of easy-to-read articles, covering a wide variety of financial topics. Written specifically with teens in mind, the articles are divided into four broad sections: Life Events, College, The Credit Union Difference and Money.



Quarterly newsletter.

The Elements of Money quarterly newsletter is filled with topical articles that your young members will enjoy to read. Each issue is designed to appeal to the youth market, boost financial literacy and raise credit union awareness.


Video on demand.


Elements Video on Demand provides a library of educational videos hosted on YouTube and accessible through the Elements of Money website. Each video is between three to four minutes long, and covers the basics of saving, spending and borrowing money.
