Elements of Money: Social Media

The Elements of Money program is active on major social networks, creating an open conversation with credit unions, members and anyone interested in youth finance.

The Elements of Money fan page is the place to learn about the latest happenings with the Elements program. We’ll announce new articles and contests, as well as premiere videos and podcasts. It’s a great way to stay in the Elements of Money loop. It’s also a great way for fans of Elements to connect with each other and share their success stories.

We use Twitter to deliver quick money tips, announce new content, share timely information, drive national contests (such as our Tweet for College scholarship), and ask for feedback about the program.

All Elements of Money videos are hosted on YouTube, providing an easy and convenient way to view videos on a wide variety of devices including video game consoles (PS3, Wii), TiVo, Apple TV and Apple iPhone. Users can also subscribe to the Elements of Money video channel, add comments and share videos with friends.

Want to share photos from your Elements events? Send them to us and we’ll post them on the Elements of Money
Flickr page for everyone to see and share. In addition, we’ll occasionally post pictures from the wacky side of money.

Every month our two Gen Y hostesses, Nikki and Jenny, take listeners into the world of teen money. The podcast is delivered in a radio show format, focusing on currrent issues in youth finance such as lowering your cell phone bill, buying a used car and saving for college expenses. Members can subscribe and have episodes delivered to their desktop (or mobile device) via iTunes or their favorite RSS reader. Members also have access to our library of past podcast episodes.
